Synthetic UV filters have emerged as a major concern in the skincare industry.
Research shows that many of these chemicals are, in fact, toxic and can negatively impact the reproductive system and hormonal balance in living organisms.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) currently permits the use of 16 UV-absorbing ingredients. Many of these compounds are produced on an industrial scale and are found not only in sunscreens but also in a wide range of other products. Alarming levels of these substances have now been detected in water sources, the environment, and even in human bodies—appearing in urine, breast milk, and placental tissue.
